Taking part

A live consultation page will explain the proposal or question, the information available, which parts are open to influence, how to respond and the closing date. Any alternative response format or accessibility arrangement will be shown on the consultation page.

What happens after a consultation

Closed consultations will remain linked to the outcome where they informed a Greenhaven Council decision, plan or service change. The result page will explain what was decided and link to the relevant decision or publication.

Consultation is only one form of participation. The Have your say page covers meetings, questions, petitions and wider community participation.

Accessible responses

A live consultation will give a contact route if you need the information or response form in another format or need an adjustment to take part. Where more than one response method is available, the consultation page will list them together.

Closed consultations

Once a consultation closes, its page will show that it is no longer accepting responses. Where a result, report, decision or next stage is available, the closed consultation will link to it so you can follow what happened after the closing date.
