Business and local economy support
Find out what Greenhaven Council can help businesses and local organisations with.
Greenhaven Council's local role
Greenhaven Council's local economy responsibility focuses on understanding local economic needs, supporting useful local connections and representing Greenhaven's needs in wider place, infrastructure and investment discussions.
What you can find here
When the service is operating, this section will provide Greenhaven information, current council opportunities and routes to the authority responsible for matters outside the council's remit. Council procurement opportunities are published separately through the finance and procurement section.
Functions held elsewhere
Local economy support does not make Greenhaven Council the authority for Council Tax, business rates, licensing, trading standards, environmental health, national business policy, employment law or taxation. Those matters remain with the body responsible for them.
Current position
There is no Greenhaven Council business support programme or local growth scheme currently open. Confirmed support, consultations and adopted local economy work will appear here when they exist.
