Transparency and performance
Council decisions, spending, governance records and service performance information.
Decisions and democratic records
Transparency begins with a usable public record of meetings and decisions. Residents will be able to see what was considered, who was responsible for the decision and the documents available to support it.
Performance information
When Greenhaven services are operating, performance pages will show the measure used, the period covered, any target or standard, the result and any significant issue affecting the service.
Finance, contracts and governance
Budget and accounts information, procurement and contract information, audit and governance records and other transparency material will be published in the relevant sections of the website and linked here where a consolidated view is useful.
Publication and open information
Public information will be available through the relevant meeting, finance, procurement, policy or performance pages. Personal information, security sensitive information and material that is lawfully confidential will remain protected.
How performance information will be read
Where performance changes materially, the published update will explain the reason and any action or service change connected with it.
Decisions and records
Transparency information will connect to the source record wherever possible: a formal decision to its decision notice or meeting, expenditure to the relevant financial period, a contract to the procurement or contract record, and a performance statement to the service or plan it is measuring. This reduces duplication and makes the public record easier to verify.
Current position
Greenhaven Council has not commenced service delivery and therefore does not yet have operational performance data, accounts or contract activity to report. The section will contain Greenhaven records as those records come into existence.
